The Goonies. What kid from the 80's doesn't love The Goonies? Oh, figures you wouldn't Charlie Dandridge. You were a jerk anyway. I can remember digging up my neighbors yard in search of some hidden pirate treasure only to be yelled at by old man Soma. If we weren't trying to come up with our own unique concept for a film, we were trying to reenact scenes from our favorite movie and television shows. We had a crew hanging in the neighborhood during fall break and since there was so many of us it only seemed natural that we give this one a shot. I enjoy Rich as big brother Brand particularly for coming up with the term "jip wad." Frank also gives a stellar dual performance as Chunk and Rosalita the housekeeper. I think we pretty much ran out of steam on The Goonies, as you'll see we skip the entire adventure and go right to the end. This one just needed a little Cindy Lauper action and some proper sound bytes. If you don't blink during the final scene, you'll notice Jimmy Mazzone using a mask I made in ceramics class to portray Sloth. Very oscar worthy.
